It is worth remembering that for a healthy pet cat, it is quite usual for them to live for 16 to 20 years.

This means that a 3 to 5 year old cat is still very young and that even a cat who is 14 years or more, has plenty of life to live and love to give.

He has come into our care after being abandoned.

He is a real beauty, and a very gentle boy who has been through a lot of confusion. He wants attention but would prefer a calm, adult home. He is also OK with other cats.

Lyddo is a cute black boy.

He was homeless for many months before coming into our care, and he was dirty, exhausted and hungry. This experience knocked his confidence in us humans, but he is now wanting head bumps and strokes again.

He is OK with other cats, and he would prefer a calm, adult home.

Nikky is a pretty jet back girl.

She came into our care as an abandoned cat, with a litter of kittens to care for.  She was extremely malnourished, exhausted, and she was struggling to feed her babies.

Her babies have all been offered homes, so now this dear little cat is waiting for a loving home of her own.

She is a friendly, affectionate girl and she gets on well with other cats.

She was caring for her 5 kittens in a log shed before coming into our care.

*** OUR LESS BOLD CATS ***

All of the following cats have been either born outside without human interaction, have been abandoned as kittens or have not received enough positive handling. Because of this, they are fearful of human intentions, take longer to gain trust and are at varying levels of timidity.

However, many years of experience has shown us that these cats will do well in a loving, quiet, indoor only home. The rewards are not instant when offering a home to a less bold cat, but watching them develop and change positively because of your love and care far outweighs the extra patience and understanding required to win them over.

Brianna is a lovely white and black girl, and her daughter Breezy is a gorgeous jet black lady.

They were rescued from a harsh homeless life, and they were very hungry, exhausted and frightened cats.

They are now inquisitive and playful, and are really gaining trust in us humans.

They have been in a short term foster placement where they really enjoyed all the comforts of home. Their placement has now ended, and they have had to come back into our care.

These sweet girls need a kind and understanding indoor home, where they can continue to come out of themselves and blossom to their full potential.

They are also available for long term fostering.

Sprite is a pretty tabby lady and Leonie is a cute black girl.

They were living a harsh life outside before coming into our care a few months ago.

They were understandably cautious and timid cats, but they are making good progress.

Brina is a lovely Snowshoe x DSH girl and her sister Bekki is a pretty little tuxedo black and white lady.

They have been brought into our care from a cold and harsh life lived outdoors.

They are sweet cats with timid natures, so they will need time to come out of their shells and blossom.

They are waiting for kind, patient and understanding home where they can develop at their own pace.

Bekki and Brina are also available for long term fostering.

(Sometimes a pairing of a pedigree with a DSH can produce a mixed litter, but did you know that a single litter of kittens can have multiple fathers? This can also result in siblings that look very different like Brina and Bekki - ones that may have a pedigree father and ones that don't.)

They need a placement that is suitable to their healthy but timid nature.
