PLEASE CALL US ON 01580 241632 OR EMAIL US

It is worth remembering that for a healthy pet cat, it is quite usual for them to live for 16 to 20 years.

This means that a 3 to 5 year old cat is still very young and that even a cat who is 14 years or more, has plenty of life to live and love to give.

COVID-19

In order to continue our work, protect ourselves and visitors to our centre, we will be exercising caution over the coming months in regard to the ending of Covid restrictions.

All appointments must be confirmed bookings or we will not be able to see you. Sensible social distancing, and mask wearing when in enclosed spaces such as our office will continue until further notice. This is ultimately for the good of the cats who need our help.

We work 7 days a week and appointments can be made outside of working hours if necessary.

Thank you,

Ruth and Allan

Names: Dearie, Mama & Grannie

Age: 6, 7 & 8 Years  Gender: Female  Breed: DSH & DLH

About:

Dearie, Mama and Grannie are lovely black and white girls with very different coat patterns.

They are three generations of one family - Grandmother, Mother and Daughter.  They are extremely closely bonded, with Grannie being a very maternal puss to both her daughter and granddaughter, and because of this they need to be homed together.

These little ladies have come a very long way since being with us. They are inquisitive and appreciative of our presence, they can be touched, although they don't really want to be stroked - but they will definitely take chicken from our hands and Grannie even stands on her back legs like a meerkat for her treats!

What they need now is a kind, patient and understanding home where the trust they have built can develop further and blossom.

If you would like to offer these darling cats a safe home where they will be loved unconditionally, please let us know by calling our centre to book an appointment to meet them.

You can contact us on 07538 967003.

*** OUR LESS BOLD CATS ***

All of the following cats have been either born outside without human interaction, have been abandoned as kittens or have not received enough positive handling. Because of this, they are fearful of human intentions, take longer to gain trust and are at varying levels of timidity.

However, many years of experience has shown us that these cats will do well in a loving, quiet, indoor only home. The rewards are not instant when offering a home to a less bold cat, but watching them develop and change positively because of your love and care far outweighs the extra patience and understanding required to win them over.

Please read each post carefully, as they are not all the same.

Moya has lost her sight in one eye and although she was very fearful at the beginning, she is much calmer now.  Her daughters are now bigger than their mum and are playful, healthy little ladies.

They have come into our care from a larger colony and so had not been used used to human interaction, but they have moved forward in their rehabilitation and are now all inquisitive girls.
